“VANDE MATARAM – A TRIBUTE TO ALLURI SEETHA RAMA RAJU

On the occasion of the 125th birthday celebrations of Alluri Sitarama Raju, an Indian revolutionary, who waged an armed campaign against British colonial rule in India. ST. JOSEPH’S High School, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana State, India was  attempted the Patriotic and social awareness event entitled “VANDE MATARAM – A TRIBUTE TO ALLURI SEETHA RAMA RAJU & Signification of ” AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV.” In this special event, a large congregation of 125 students is going to rally for one kilometer dressing up like Sri Alluri Seetha Rama Raju holding 75 meters of our National Flag and singing the slogan “Vande Mataram”, “Mera Bharat Mahan & Jai Hind”. These patriotic, as well as social awareness pursuits, were conducted at the school premises on August 15, 2022. This event will be held under the supervision of the School principal & Staff has been approved by the Telugu Book of Records in the special category of patriotic cause attempt.
