FIRST INDIAN POLICE OFFICER (Retd.) TO CLIMB MOUNT ELBRUS (RUSSIA) AT THE AGE OF 60’S

Dr.Raja Sikhamani (India, b.15- 08- 1958) who hails from Prakasam District, started his career as an SI in 1981 and worked mostly in the Andhra Pradesh Police Academy, Hyderabad has successfully scaled the 5,642 meters Mount Elbrus in Russia, the highest peak in Europe, in July 2020 despite inclement weather. It was covered with snow and temperature was mostly -25 degrees Celsius. After his successful adventure, now he is planning to climb the 6,962-Meters Aconcagua Mountain located in Mendoza Province of Argentina. This adventure has been appreciated by Telugu Book of Records in a special category.
