HONOURS SPIRITUAL GRANDEUR KOTI DEEPOTSAVAM AT RAMESHWARA SWAMY TEMPLE

Machilipatnam, December 2: The Telugu Book of Records recognized the Koti Deepotsavam conducted at Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple during Kartika Masam as a record event. On November 13, around 3,900 devotees lit one crore lamps before the 35-feet idol of Lord Parama Shiva, performing Deepaaradhana in batches of one lakh wicks, with additional lamps offered at the adjacent Ranganayaka Swamy Temple. The certificate was presented by Dr. Chintapatla Venkata Chary, Founder & Chairman, to Temple Dharmakarta Mandali Chairperson Smt. Desu Neeraj and Executive Officer Sammeta Anjaneya Swami. Former District Library Chairman Korrapati Gopichand and several dignitaries attended. Speakers praised the temple committee and the services of Sri Desu Subrahmanyam, and Temple Priest Bhaskara Sharma was also felicitated.
