TELUGU BOOK OF RECORDS
OFFICIAL GUIDELINES & RULES FOR RECORD ATTEMPTS
1. Objective
The Telugu Book of Records recognizes and honors extraordinary achievements, unique talents, innovations, creativity, academic excellence, artistic performances, cultural heritage, social service, scientific accomplishments, and remarkable human endeavors. Every record must demonstrate excellence, originality, measurable achievement, and positive social value.
2. How to Create a Record
A record attempt must satisfy the following criteria:
- Must be unique or significantly outstanding.
- Must be measurable with clear results.
- Must be verifiable through reliable evidence.
- Must be safe and ethically conducted.
- Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Must not promote violence, discrimination, cruelty, or illegal activities.
- Must not endanger people, animals, or the environment.
3. How to Set a New Record
Applicants should submit:
- Proposed record title.
- Detailed description of the record.
- Purpose and uniqueness of the attempt.
- Date, time, and venue.
- Details of participants.
- Methodology and measurement process.
- Safety precautions.
- Estimated duration of the attempt.
The Telugu Book of Records will review the proposal and determine its eligibility.
4. Breaking an Existing Record
If attempting to surpass an existing record:
- The applicant must review the existing record guidelines.
- All prescribed rules must be strictly followed.
- The new achievement must clearly exceed the existing benchmark.
- Complete evidence must be submitted for verification.
5. Before the Record Attempt
Applicants must:
- Submit the official application form.
- Pay the applicable adjudication and processing fees.
- Obtain official approval from the Telugu Book of Records.
- Carefully study the approved rules and guidelines.
- Conduct trial runs whenever necessary.
- Ensure all logistical and safety arrangements are in place.
6. How to Apply for Adjudication
Applicants should submit:
- Completed application form.
- Record title and complete description.
- Date, time, and venue.
- Organizer’s details.
- Participant information.
- Supporting documents.
- Safety and event management plan.
Upon approval, the Telugu Book of Records will appoint an Official Adjudicator.
Duties of the Official Adjudicator
The adjudicator will:
- Explain the official rules.
- Supervise the entire record attempt.
- Verify measurements and timing.
- Examine all evidence.
- Confirm compliance with the guidelines.
- Declare the final result.
The adjudicator’s decision shall be final.
7. Spot Record Adjudication
Spot Record Adjudication allows an official adjudicator to witness and verify the record attempt at the venue.
Requirements:
- Application should preferably be submitted at least 15 days before the event.
- The venue and schedule must be finalized in advance.
- Travel, accommodation, and local hospitality for the adjudicator shall be arranged by the organizer.
- The attempt will be observed live.
- If all requirements are fulfilled, provisional recognition may be announced on the spot.
- The official certificate will be issued after completion of documentation and final verification.
8. Mandatory Evidence Required
Every record attempt must include:
- Complete unedited video recording.
- High-resolution photographs.
- Attendance or participant list (where applicable).
- Timekeeping records.
- Measurement records.
- Two independent witness statements.
- Expert certification (if required).
- Media coverage (optional but recommended).
Failure to provide sufficient evidence may result in rejection.
9. General Rules
- All information submitted must be accurate and truthful.
- Edited or manipulated evidence will not be accepted.
- Fraudulent submissions will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Safety guidelines must always be followed.
- The adjudicator’s decision is final and binding.
- The Telugu Book of Records reserves the right to reject any attempt that violates its standards or ethics.
10. Reasons for Rejection
A record attempt may be rejected for:
- Incomplete documentation.
- Insufficient evidence.
- False or misleading information.
- Violation of official rules.
- Safety violations.
- Fraudulent or manipulated evidence.
- Failure to exceed the qualifying standard.
11. Recognition After Approval
Successful record holders will receive:
- Official Telugu Book of Records Certificate.
- Medal or Memento (where applicable).
- Recognition on the Telugu Book of Records official platforms.
- Eligibility for publication in the Telugu Book of Records Annual Edition, subject to editorial selection.
12. Rights Reserved
The Telugu Book of Records reserves the right to:
- Modify or update its rules and policies at any time.
- Request additional evidence or clarification.
- Accept or reject any application based on its verification standards.
- Withdraw recognition if fraudulent information is discovered after certification.
