Telugu Book of Records. Yes, you read it right. For Telugu language lovers, Telugu Book of Records (TBR) is being introduced to highlight talented Telugu people across the globe. Tracking their achievements in various streams and bringing them to limelight, founder president of TBR, Dr.Chintapalli Venkatachary, worked for two years to realise his dream project. Born and brought up in a carpenter\u2019s family, he had a flair for art and craftsmanship right from his childhood.<\/p>\n
Inspired by the barcode of the price tag he created line script for eight Indian languages. Incidentally, he is the only one from India invited to participate in an international project on the subject. \u201cThere are many talented Telugu people living across the world. Most of their work and achievements go unnoticed due to lack of publicity.\u201d TBR aims to highlight those who are talented in varied fields such as culture, heritage, literature, art, music, dance and other streams. The entity aims at keeping the regional language alive. \u201cTBR will be the pride of Telugu people and the platform pools artistes and help them get recognition worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n
Brief About Dr. Chintapatla<\/strong><\/p>\n The vertical lines with spaces certainly have a pattern. Something like a barcode on a book. But these cannot be read by the electronic gadget in a mall. Close an eye, slant the paper to a certain degree and watch. The lines and spaces suddenly metamorphose into legible and coherent sentences. Welcome to \u2018Line Script\u2019 invented and practised by Ch. Venkatachary, an interior designer.<\/p>\n \u201cIt takes years of hard work to master this type of writing. Since 80s, I have been practising and fine tuning this style,\u201d he says. Venkatachary hopes to line-script the biographies of 100 great personalities of India.
